Project: For the Spring 2010 issue of Northern California’s Terrain Magazine, we focused on refining the design language and evolving the brand style of the environmental publication. This included implementing a number of additional color spreads to the predominantly black and white magazine, expanding on the typography, and designing a special Ecology Center Celebrates 40 timeline feature.

What started out as a local newsletter 30 years ago, has developed into a premiere publication dedicated to asking the tough questions. Project: For the 2009 Indie Events Calendar, we decided to go with an 80′s-style design and radical typography. All the states are hand-drawn in Illustrator and custom-fitted with faux Zebra print.
